A poem by a resident of Chestertown for the 2001 Seminar
On J. B. Yeats, buried near Panther Mountain In
                        northern New York State

Beyond Ben Bulben's sheltering gaze,

Beyond the tumult of the city's sea of dreams,

He is at rest now beside these peaceful lakes

So far from Innisfree,

His silver tongue is silent now,

Still too the restless pen, the gifted brush that

Sought the souls of men.

Amid the northern hills and sky, the finite and

The infinite embrace.

He is at home now,

He rests at last beneath the Panther's watchful eye.
